My favorite part about USC is the relationships that Ive made here, says Emily. My peers, faculty and administrators have really shaped my motivation to contribute to the university community. From the first day on campus, I have had so many role models in so many arenas.
Emilys activities also include her position as director of Purchases at the Last Minute (PALM) Funding Board, which awards last-minute funds for student organization events, and as a peer leadership consultant for Campus Activities, where she helps coordinate holiday and spring vendor fairs and assists student organizations with funding and event planning.
After graduation, Emily plans to pursue a career as an intake worker at a welfare agency for Los Angeles County. Ultimately, she would like to obtain a position as a welfare or social services policy analyst.
I feel privileged to know that I can count such amazing Trojans as friends, says Emily. I really appreciate their guidance as I try to navigate this next phase of my life.
