As a colleague, I have found Leah to be incredibly passionate about her work, says Matthew Nelson, east area director for the Office of Residential Education. It is her personal commitment to learning and her professional commitment to her colleagues and staff that make Leah an invaluable teammate.
Leah, who has worked at USC since 2003, earned her bachelors degree in business administration with an emphasis in marketing from Mount St. Mary's College, a Master of Education in college student personnel from the University of Maryland, College Park, and will complete her Ed.D. in educational leadership from USC this spring. The great colleaguesstudents and professional staffhave made working here a joy! says Leah. I have especially appreciated the wisdom and guidance from the team in the Office of the Vice President of Student Affairs on particularly tough student/parent issues.
