NIH Minority Health Center Award

USC was awarded a $7.5 million grant from the National Institutes of Health (NIH) to launch a Comprehensive Center of Excellence in Minority Health focusing on childhood obesity research and prevention.

Professor Chris Swain of the School of Cinematic Arts debuted an educational videogame, the ReDistricting Game, for Rep. John Tanner (D-TN) and members of the media on Capitol Hill. Tanner's redistricting bill is the basis for one of the game's missions.
