- Bradbury teaches graduate and executive education programs both nationally and internationally.
She was the recipient of a $200,000 National Science Foundation award to facilitate and document the efforts of multinational companies as they work to become more sustainable by managing the so-called "triple bottom line" of "people, planet, profit." In addition, she consults with leaders of small- to medium-sized businesses that want to be more profitable and environmentally responsible.
Bradbury has been honored for her work with the Mitchell International medal for Young Sustainability Scholar.
She co-edited the bestselling Handbook of Action Research (Sage, 2001) with Peter Reason. She is also founding co-editor and editor-in-chief of the international journal Action Research. Her journal articles have appeared in Organization Science, Academy of Management Executive, the Journal of Management Inquiry and Organization Development Practitioner, among other publications.
Bradbury grew up in Ireland and has lived and worked in Europe and Asia. She is active locally in parenting and political organizations; she was elected in November 2005 to the board of Pasadena City College, representing her town of South Pasadena as well as neighboring San Marino.
