Hurricane Sandy Commanding Officer to Speak at USC Symposium on Maritime Risks

WHAT: U.S. Coast Guard
Atlantic Area Commander Vice Admiral Robert
C. Parker, who commands all Coast Guard operations along the
eastern seaboard, will give the keynote address at a forum bringing
together researchers and top officials to discuss maritime risks.
Parker led all Coast Guard rescue operations, including the rescue of
the HMS Bounty crew off the coast of North Carolina during Hurricane
Sandy, and reconstitution efforts in the wake of the storm in the Port
of New York & New Jersey.
