Munck is an expert on Latin America and democracy at the USC
Dornsife College of Letters, Arts & Sciences. He can speak about
Hugo Chavez as a political figure, changes he made to Venezuela, and
his contentious relationship with the U.S. He is fluent in Spanish and
has done extensive media on Hugo Chavez in the past. He has also
evaluated democratic practices for the United Nations and can
speak to democracy among Venezuela's government, citizens and media.
