Accounting professor Sarah Bonner receives a teaching and mentoring award from the USC Parents’ Association.
USC parents selected Sarah Bonner as a recipient of the USC Parents’ Association Teaching and Mentoring Awards.

Bonner, a professor of accounting as well as management and organization, holds the USC Accounting Associates Professorship in the USC Leventhal School of Accounting.

She has served on many USC professional committees during her tenure, including director of the doctoral program in the Leventhal School.

The Parents’ Association, in partnership with the Office for Parent Programs, develops activities for the nationwide involvement of new and current Trojan parents in campus activities and events. It also raises funds for faculty scholarship awards.

Events are designed to strengthen communication with other USC parents, promote parent participation and support students’ university experience. All parents of USC students are members of the Parents’ Association.

The Office for Parent Programs noted that Bonner’s nomination and supporting documents were “truly extraordinary.”
