Volunteers share healthy messages

10/07/05
Thanks to faculty and staff donations to the Good Neighbors Campaign, 70 free health screenings and information booths were provided to 1,200 community residents on Oct. 1 at the 6th annual HSC Community Health Fair, held at the East Los Angeles Occupational Center. USC volunteers provided screenings for diabetes, blood pressure and dental health as well as information on exercise and nutrition.

The fair is an annual one-day, one-stop event funded entirely by funds raised during the annual Good Neighbors Campaign, which happens throughout October.
