[Photo:] The Lindley F. Bothwell Scholarships were awarded during a
March 17 luncheon to two USC students for their academic
achievement and involvement in school activities. Jeremy E. Grimes,
a junior, receivedFirst Wedding in the New Land/Mama, Papa and the
Kids by Marlene Zimmerman, from the exhibit "A Project Americana
Sampler: Long Live the Land of the Free," now on display in the
Skirball Museum. The exhibit comprises items of American Judaica
from the museum's growing Project Americana Collection.
Incorporating fine art, folk art and memorabilia, the collection
illustrates the experience of immigration and adaptation to life in
America. the $1,500 for a yell leader, while freshman Stacy L.
Latham was awarded the $1,500 scholarship for a song leader.
