We hope you will enjoy viewing these QuickTime VR images which allow you to "move through" our campus via your computer screen. To view these movies, you need to have the Quicktime 4 player, available free from Apple. If you do not have the Quicktime Player installed on your computer you must first download and install it. Quicktime is available for both Macintosh and Windows machines at the Apple Computer web site:
Alumni Park

The Big Tour (706K) begins in Alumni Park looking west across Trousdale Parkway toward Bovard Administration Building. Turn left to see the Student Union Building. Turn right to see Von KleinSmid Center. Turn completely around to see Doheny Memorial Library (currently closed for renovation). You can move south--for a closer look at the Student Union Building--by clicking on the fountain in the distance (Hahn Plaza). You can move north by clicking on the sidewalk in front of Von KleinSmid Center. (Part of your cursor circle changes to an arrow when it's over one of these "nodes.") Try not to get lost.
Mini-Tours are also available. Begin facing Doheny Library (219K) or the Student Union Building (218K).
Two Libraries

No visitor to our campus should miss visiting the Hoose Library of Philosophy and Leavey Library, two libraries which mark the transformation of how information has been collected and distributed in this century at USC. Our oldest and newest library buildings, they share a common heritage of dedicated, creative librarians and the extraordinary vision and generosity of the donors who provided the resources for building them.
Hoose Library of Philosophy
The Library is
housed in the Mudd Memorial
Hall of Philosophy. Designed by architect Ralph Carlin Flewelling and erected in 1930, it is patterned after a medieval monastery in
Tuscany, Italy. Walk through the patio which faces Trousdale Parkway. The main entrance is to your left.
Thomas and Dorothy Leavey Library
Designed by the architectural firm of Shepley Bulfinch
Richardson & Abbott, the Leavey Library opened in the fall of 1995. An information gateway library, Leavey provides both the innovative technology and the training to give USC students access to the world's rapidly expanding digital information resources. Our VR tour begins at the corner of 35th Street and Hoover Boulevard facing Fagg Park. As you turn to the right, you can see the Von KleinSmid Center tower and Waite Phillips Hall. Keep turning to see the Leavey Library plaza.
