Resident conductor Sharon Lavery leads the USC Thornton Symphony in a performance of Douglas Lowry’s Fanfare for Flora, Paul Hindemith’s Symphonic Metamorphosis of Themes by Carl Maria von Weber, and Brahms’ Symphony No.2 in D Major, Op.73.
This performance is dedicated to the memory of Douglas Lowry, Thornton alumnus and former associate dean who went on to become Dean of the Eastman School of Music.
