Graham Wiggins is a physicist and pianist. He received early training in classical and jazz styles, and has developed his own approach centered on original compositions with improvisation. Recently he has also been working on an approach to free improvisation, surrendering his knowledge of music theory to approach the keyboard in a fresh way, choosing notes based on visual patterns, movement of tones or degrees of dissonance rather than starting from a rigidly defined key. He will perform in a trio with bass and drums.
