Be inspired by athletic determination and courage. Come cheer on more than 1,400 Special Olympics athletes from across the world as they compete for gold, silver, and bronze medals and ribbons at Summer Games. The Games will feature six sports: aquatics, basketball, bocce, golf, gymnastics, and track & field. The Summer Games Invitational is the first of two Southern California championships held every year, and it is free and open to the public. Along with featuring 1,100 athletes from Southern California, 300 athletes and 140 coaches from 20 countries around the world will join the competition as the 2015 Special Olympics World Summer Games tests processes.
