H. Robert Reynolds and Sharon Lavery lead the USC Thornton Wind Ensemble in American Emblems, a concert honoring the 200th anniversary of The Star Spangled Banner.
The program features Variations on America and Country Band March by Ives, Copland’s Emblems, Street Song by Judge Widney Professor of Music and Thornton alumnus Michael Tilson Thomas, and Composition faculty Frank Ticheli’s Saxophone Concerto featuring faculty saxophonist Christopher Bartz.
