Celebrating its 10th anniversary, Visions & Voices initiative is USC's commitment to interdisciplinary approaches. The initiative features an array of events organized by faculty and schools. With presentations by critically acclaimed artists and distinguished speakers, the series features theatrical productions, music and dance performances, film screenings, lectures, and workshops.
Navigating the University: Research & Resources Management Retreat

This half-day retreat is intended for research investigators in all disciplines: the sciences, engineering, humanities and social sciences who are wanting to learn about the resources available to them at USC, which includes all new amd junior faculty.
The retreat will be divided into several sections, providing an overview of the functions of USC’s research offices as well as information when one would and should contact them. There will also be break-put sessions for opportunities to speak one-on-one to individual departments, such as: LIbraries, SC CTSI, Bioinformatics, Biostatistics and Department of Contracts & Grants (DCG), and Institutional Review Board (IRB).
Topics are: Management, Mentoring, Who does What, Budget and Award Management, Tenure and Promotion, and Running a Research Lab.
