The Suzanne Dworak-Peck School of Social Work champions social justice for the well-being of individuals, families, and communities through innovative teaching of evidence-based practice and practice-based skills, pioneering transformative research, and cultivating leadership for social change.

The USC Thornton School of Music prepares students for successful careers in the 21st century. By blending the rigors of a traditional conservatory-style education with the intellectual ambition of a leading research university, students excel as elite artists, performers, educators, and professionals while taking classes in other schools at USC. They often add a double major or a minor, and learn from world-class faculty and students outside music. 

Founded in 1905, the USC Viterbi School of Engineering is named for Andrew Viterbi who developed an algorithm to connect the world’s citizens. USC Viterbi is a pioneer in restoring sight to the blind; restoring memory to sufferers of Alzheimer’s; and socially assistive robots to aid seniors with stroke or children with autism. It is the home of the first operational quantum computing center in academia.
