USC partners with College Track to promote school success for first-gen high school students of color

The national nonprofit’s new Crenshaw center is just miles from USC’s University Park Campus.

University professionals aim to set a gold standard in college health on University Park and Health Sciences campuses

Thousands are voicing their values and vision for how the university should reshape itself, through a process underway across USC’s campuses and centers.

Newcomers quickly learn the ties that bind them to the rest of the Trojan Family.

Sculpted by Roger Noble Burnham, Tommy Trojan was modeled after different USC football players. On the bronze statue’s granite pedestal are inscribed the qualities of the ideal Trojan: “FAITHFUL, SCHOLARLY, SKILLFUL, COURAGEOUS, AMBITIOUS.”

Tens of thousands of Trojans have taken part in the continuing effort.

The commitment, presented at Thursday’s convocation ceremony, encourages students to display integrity, accountability, fairness and communication, and to value diversity.
