Join USC’s Department of Classics and the Levan Institute for the Humanities for a guest lecture by renowned scholar Federico Montinaro of the University of Tübingen. The talk will explore the interplay of religious, military and cultural power in Byzantium and the Mediterranean region from the ninth to the 11th century.

Join the USC community for a special screening of the silent-era horror classic The Phantom of the Opera, starring Lon Chaney. This landmark film, a haunting tale of obsession, music and mystery beneath the Paris Opera House, will feature live musical accompaniment by Sean J. O’Connell. A panel discussion will follow the screening.
